Ahlan!! = Welcome!

Hi everyone and Welcome to Simply Arabic,

I've created this blog for all of you who are keen on Learning Arabic as a second language.

I know arabic is a pretty complicated language and fairly different from most european languages. So I'll try and simplify things to enable you to pick up a few words that are universally understood amoung the 22 different countries that speak arabic.

I will be ignoring the alphabet initially as learning a new alphabit will delay the process of learning. We will start like kids and would be following these steps:

- Hear it!
- Say it!
- Use it!
- Read it!
- Write it!

The aim of that is to use the natural way that our brains use to learn our mother tongue in order to learn arabic as a second language. Moreover, it should make the learning process more fun and less stressful.

So simple easy lessons with tiny baby steps to get you there.

Salam! (literally means Peace and commonly used for Hello and Goodbye!)
